LogRocket pricing in 2026 is set by recorded sessions per month. There is a Free plan with 1,000 sessions, Core costs $990 a year (about $83 a month) for 10,000 sessions, $2,115 a year for 25,000 and $3,990 a year for 50,000. Pro starts at $8,600 a year for 100,000 sessions and reaches $62,000 a year for 3 million. Above 4 million sessions, Enterprise is a custom quote.

Those numbers come from the price calculator on LogRocket's own pricing page, read in October 2026. Review and procurement sites quote anything from $69 to $295 as the starting price because they copied older plan names (Team, Professional) at different times. Below is the full current ladder, what moves you from Core to Pro, and what the same traffic costs with a tool built for product and growth teams rather than for debugging.

Two details matter when you read that table. First, the calculator shows annual contract prices and divides them by twelve, so "$176 a month" means $2,115 paid for the year. LogRocket's FAQ says month to month billing also exists and that prepaying for a year earns a discount, but it does not print the month to month rate. Expect it to be higher. Second, the final price "depends on seats, retention length, and add-ons like Streaming Export", in LogRocket's words, so the calculator figure is a floor, not a quote.

How much does LogRocket cost per month?

LogRocket costs about $83 a month for 10,000 sessions, $176 for 25,000 and $333 for 50,000 on the Core plan, all billed as a yearly contract. Pro, which adds the Galileo AI features, starts at about $717 a month for 100,000 sessions. A team recording 500,000 sessions pays about $1,433 a month, or $17,200 a year.

Look at the jump between 50,000 and 100,000 sessions. Doubling traffic more than doubles the bill, from $3,990 to $8,600 a year, because 100,000 sessions is where the calculator forces you onto Pro. Core is only offered below 100,000. A growing site that crosses that line mid contract feels it at renewal.

What is the difference between LogRocket Core and Pro?

Core is the full replay and analytics product, and Pro adds the AI layer and admin controls. Core includes session replay, unlimited analytics, error and log events, heatmaps and click maps, funnels, path analysis, frontend performance monitoring, alerting, SSO, surveys and API access. Pro adds AI session summaries, AI issue detection, AI funnel and heatmap insights, the Ask Galileo assistant, AI analysis of feedback from tools like Zendesk and Intercom, role based access and audit logs.

You can buy Pro below 100,000 sessions too. The calculator prices it at $3,500 a year for 10,000 sessions, $4,887.50 for 25,000 and $7,200 for 50,000. That is roughly 3.5 times the Core price at 10,000 sessions and 1.8 times at 50,000. So the AI features carry the steepest premium for small teams, who are often the ones with the least time to watch recordings.

Is LogRocket free?

Yes, LogRocket has a Free plan that records 1,000 sessions a month, and every paid plan comes with a 14 day trial of all features without a credit card. The free tier is useful for a developer checking a bug on a staging app. On a production site it covers about 33 visits a day, too few to see patterns in a funnel.

What do companies actually pay for LogRocket?

Procurement data runs well above the entry price. Vendr reports a median of about $25,000 a year across 67 LogRocket purchases, and SpendHound reports averages of about $15,500 a year for small and mid sized buyers and about $49,100 for enterprise buyers. On the public ladder, $25,000 a year buys a little under 1 million sessions on Pro.

Those figures fit the way LogRocket is usually bought. Engineering teams use it as a debugging tool, record every session of a large web app, add seats and longer retention, and sign a yearly contract. LogRocket's pricing page lists discounts for volume, startups, nonprofits, open source projects, multi year terms, case study partners and students, so there is room to negotiate on large deals.

Costs that are not on the calculator

  • Seats and retention. Both change the final price, and neither is listed per plan. Ask for the seat count and retention period in writing before you compare quotes.
  • Streaming Data Export. Sending raw data to your warehouse is an Enterprise feature. If your analysts live in a warehouse, factor that in early.
  • Conditional Recording. From 250,000 sessions the calculator offers to record only a targeted share of sessions, 25 to 40 percent depending on volume, at a lower price. It cuts the bill, and it also means the session you need for a support ticket may not exist.
  • Downgrades. On an annual plan you can raise your quota at any time, but a downgrade only takes effect at the end of the term. Size the contract on today's traffic, not on a launch spike.

Is LogRocket worth the money?

LogRocket is worth it when engineering owns the budget and the main job is finding and fixing front end bugs. Replay sits next to console logs, network requests, JavaScript errors and performance data, it has SDKs for mobile apps, and it offers self hosting for regulated industries. Few tools match that for debugging a complex web app.

It is a weaker fit when the people using it are product managers, marketers and UX designers who want to know why visitors do not convert. They pay for unlimited error and log events they rarely open, and the AI features that would save them hours cost a Pro premium of 1.8 to 3.5 times below 100,000 sessions. If your team is comparing tools on that basis, our LogRocket alternative page goes through the differences feature by feature.

One more point for engineering buyers. A replay tool tells you what a visitor saw after something went wrong. It will not page anyone when the checkout API stops answering at 3 a.m. That job belongs to uptime monitoring that checks your site and APIs every 30 seconds, which costs a fraction of a replay contract and catches outages before the recordings fill up with failed sessions.

LogRocket pricing compared with UserExplorer

UserExplorer publishes four plans and sells all of them through online checkout, up to 2 million sessions. Every plan includes session replay, heatmaps, funnels, form analytics and an AI researcher that reads the sessions and answers questions with the replays as evidence. There is no separate AI tier.

Monthly sessionsLogRocket per yearUserExplorer planUserExplorer per year, billed yearly
10,000Core $990, or Pro $3,500 with AIStartup, 10,000 sessions, 50 AI analyses$588
25,000Core $2,115, or Pro $4,887.50 with AIGrowth, 100,000 sessions, 400 AI analyses$2,988
100,000Pro $8,600Growth, 100,000 sessions$2,988
500,000Pro $17,200Scale, 500,000 sessions, API and webhooks$8,988
2,000,000Pro $45,500Enterprise, 2,000,000 sessions, SSO and SLA$23,988

Be fair about where each side wins. At 25,000 sessions LogRocket Core is cheaper than our Growth plan, as long as you do not need the AI features. LogRocket also records native mobile apps, which we do not, and it captures network, console and performance data for debugging, which is not our focus. UserExplorer is cheaper from 100,000 sessions up, includes the AI analysis on every plan, and adds surveys, NPS and user profiles from Growth. Full plan details are on the pricing page.

How to choose between LogRocket and a cheaper option

  1. Name the buyer. If engineers will live in the tool to fix bugs, price LogRocket Core or Pro. If product and growth people will use it to find conversion problems, compare tools built for them.
  2. Price your real volume. Count sessions over the last three months, not one peak week, and check which side of 100,000 you are on.
  3. Decide whether you need AI. If nobody has time to watch recordings, compare total cost with AI included on both sides, not Core against a tool that includes it.
  4. Run both for two weeks. Install the scripts side by side and ask each tool the same question about your funnel. Our session replay tools comparison has a trial checklist you can reuse.

If you are also pricing quote only tools, the same breakdown exists for FullStory pricing, where nothing is published and the numbers come from reported contracts.

LogRocket pricing questions

How much does LogRocket cost?

LogRocket costs from $990 a year for 10,000 sessions a month on Core, which works out to about $83 a month. Pro starts at $8,600 a year for 100,000 sessions, and the public ladder reaches $62,000 a year for 3 million sessions. Above 4 million sessions, Enterprise is priced by quote. Seats, retention and add-ons can raise the final price.

Does LogRocket charge per session?

Yes. LogRocket prices plans by recorded sessions per month, and every plan includes unlimited analytics, error and log events. You choose a session tier, from 10,000 to 3 million on the public calculator, and the tier sets the price. From 250,000 sessions you can record only a share of sessions with Conditional Recording to lower the cost.

Is LogRocket expensive?

For small teams that want the AI features, yes. Pro at 10,000 sessions costs $3,500 a year, 3.5 times Core. For large engineering teams the cost per 1,000 sessions drops to under $2 at 2 million sessions. Reported real contracts sit around $25,000 a year at the median, according to Vendr purchase data.

Does LogRocket offer annual billing discounts?

Yes. LogRocket's FAQ says plans are billed monthly by default and that prepaying for a year earns a discount, arranged through sales. The pricing calculator itself shows the annual contract price. Annual contracts lock the rate for the term, quota can be raised at any time, and downgrades apply only at renewal.
