Cookies on userexplorer.com

We set only cookies that are strictly necessary for the website and the app to work:

  • Session cookie, which keeps you signed in and remembers your session while you use the app. It expires when the session ends.
  • CSRF token cookie, which protects forms against cross site request forgery. It expires with the session.

Strictly necessary cookies do not require consent, which is why the site shows no cookie banner. We do not use analytics cookies, advertising pixels or third party tracking on userexplorer.com.

The recording snippet on customers' websites

Our customers install the UserExplorer snippet on their own websites and apps. To group the pages of one visit into a single session, the snippet uses first party storage under the customer's own domain. It does not set third party cookies and does not track people across different websites.

The customer decides whether recording needs consent on its site. With consent mode, the snippet waits for the consent signal from the customer's own consent banner and does not store anything or record until that signal arrives. The customer is responsible for informing its visitors in its own privacy and cookie notices.

Managing cookies

You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block the essential cookies of userexplorer.com, you will not be able to sign in to the app.
